Christ in You, The Hope of Glory

In the last message we mentioned how Jesus is the center of the gospel and how without Jesus there is no gospel. Paul then takes this one step deeper and reveals the glorious riches of the mystery of the gospel, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory". This next step deeper into the truth of the gospel can be a doozy so watch your step. The language of this passage references “Christ in you” and how it is possible for Christ to powerfully work in us so that we begin to be transformed to look like Jesus. Not only that, this passage alludes to a unity we can have with Jesus in which our life is joined to Him. This is a difficult concept for many and one that even the wisest has more to explore and learn.
