Why Did God Reject Cain’s Offering?

Why did God accept Abel’s offering but reject Cain’s? Genesis doesn’t give us the simple explanation we might want—but Hebrews gives us an important clue: “By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did.” In this message from our Big Faith series, we’ll explore why Abel’s offering wasn’t simply about what he gave—it was a tangible step of trust in God. We’ll discover why God doesn’t need our stuff, how generosity reveals what we’re trusting in, and why giving God our firstfruits instead of our leftovers can become an exercise in Big Faith. When it comes to your finances and resources, do you trust God enough to give Him the first—and trust Him with what comes next?
